Admissions

We  have a 52 place nursery at St Peter’s. There are 26 morning places and 26 afternoon places and the nursery is staffed by a full time teacher and a nursery nurse.

We have 60 places in two Reception classes, staffed by two full time teachers and two nursery nurses.

There are two classes of 30 children (60 in total) in year groups 1 to 6.

Pupils are admitted to school in the Nursery class in the September following their third birthday, and into the Reception class in the September after their fourth birthday. Staffordshire Local Authority is responsible for the allocation of places for Nursery and Reception classes, and parents make their applications directly to the Local Authority;

Website: https://www.staffordshire.gov.uk/education/schoolsandcolleges/admissions/admissions.aspx

Times and dates for applications will be sent to you by the Local Authority – but do ring the school office for advice if you’re not sure about anything

Parents who are considering sending their child or children to St Peter’s C.E (C) Primary School can contact Rosie Chandler, the School Bursar, who will explain the admission arrangements.

Parents are encouraged to look round the school and talk to Miss Samantha Price the Head teacher, or another member of the Senior Leadership Team before coming to a decision; this can be arranged through the school.
